I went to see what the hold up was and was told we were waiting for our Principal to say grace. "Oh for God's sake!!!!" exploded the cynical staff member. My actions were met with shock, dismay, and resentment. If I loved them why didn't I buy something for them, they wanted to know. This year I'll upset the status quo again, but I plan to respond with this: "I hope you'll do the same in my behalf." Amazing to me that to honor the true meaning of the season we have to think outside the box, outside what has evolved as the "norm."Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03919434639446724942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5496705166740525186.post-63050053633997400052009-12-11T03:05:13.492+11:002009-12-11T03:05:13.492+11:00I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that ...I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that one! How did Christmas turn out to be something that it really isn't? It really is about the birth of Jesus and not about the parties, gifts and cards.
